Sending a bicycle across Europe used to be a logistical headache. Today, with a dedicated bike-shipping service, it's a five-step process you can complete in minutes.
This guide walks through each step so you know what to expect - whether you're a private rider sending a bike to its new owner, a shop fulfilling an online order, or a team relocating equipment for a race.
1. Get an instant quote and book online
Pricing is fixed by route, not negotiated per shipment. Domestic routes inside one country start at €39. Cross-border routes within the core EU (Germany, Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy) start at €59. Routes to or from any of the other supported European countries start at €69. All commercial prices are quoted ex-VAT; private senders see prices including the applicable VAT for their country.
To book, you choose the origin and destination countries, the type of shipment (full bike, frame only, or wheelset), the box you'll use, and a declared market value. The system returns a fixed total in seconds - no callback, no waiting on a sales rep.
2. Pack the bike
You can use your own box or order one of our pre-sized boxes during checkout. The presets cover most road, gravel, and mountain bikes:
- Extra-small (114 × 30 × 76 cm) - frames, wheels, and small components
- Small (149 × 24 × 76 cm) - most road and gravel bikes
- Medium (149 × 31 × 84 cm) - most mountain and larger frames
Whichever box you use, the limits are the same: maximum length 274 cm, maximum girth (length + 2 × width + 2 × height) 419 cm, and maximum weight 50 kg per box. Beyond removing the wheels, pedals, and handlebars, the most important thing is to pad anything that can rub or shift in transit. Our packaging-requirements article covers the specifics for each box size.
3. Pickup at your door
After booking, you'll choose a pickup window. The carrier collects the box from the address you specified - home, shop, or workshop. There's nothing to print at a counter and no need to drop the bike off; the courier brings the label, scans the parcel, and takes it from there.
If you're not home during the chosen window, you can reschedule from your dashboard. Most missed pickups can be rebooked for the next working day at no charge.
4. Tracking in transit
Once the box is on the move, you'll see live updates in your dashboard at every checkpoint - origin scan, transfer, last-mile, out for delivery. The recipient gets the same updates by email if you opt them in during checkout. This works across our trusted European carrier partners; you don't need separate logins for each one.
5. Delivery
Most European bike shipments arrive within 2–5 business days, depending on the route. The recipient signs at handover. We recommend a quick visual check of the box before signing - if there's visible damage, the courier can note it on the spot, which simplifies any follow-up.
What's included as standard
Every shipment comes with real-time tracking, door-to-door pickup and delivery, and standard carrier liability for loss or damage. There are no hidden fees: the price you see at checkout is the price you pay, and there's no fuel surcharge or weekend supplement to follow later.
Optional Premium Protection
If you're shipping a bike worth more than carrier liability covers, you can add Premium Protection at checkout. The premium is 1.5% of the declared market value for private senders and 0.5% for commercial senders, with a €250 minimum declared value and coverage up to €20,000 per shipment. Claims are processed within 48 hours of receipt with no deductible.

We currently ship to and from 22 European countries - across Western, Northern, Central, and Southern Europe. The full list is shown when you start a quote.
